In 1988, while Kevin was attending high school, he took a 1975 Monte Carlo and turned it into a street stock race car to race at "Checker Flag" in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. With no more money other then the $190 his dad invested, Kevin finished every race he entered that season. He finished 27th in the points but he was determined that he was going to race.

In 1989 Kevin bought a used race car and began learning how to get the handling right. Even though he only finished 21st in the points that season, he learned allot.

In 1990 the Melbro Racing Team built Kevin a Pro Car and he finished 10th in the points, showing that if he had the right equipment, he had the skills to get the car around the track.

In 1991 Kevin finished 4th in the points with that same car. He had numerous top five finishes, but while competing for the championship during the last race, he was put in the wall by a fellow competitor. This killed his chances for the championship, forcing him to settle with 4th

In 1992 Kevin moved up to CASCAR looking for more of a challenge. In 1994, he had a couple top ten qualifying and an 11th in 8 attempts and two top 11 race finishes. As a result of those, he received CASCAR's award for "Most Improved Driver" in the Eastern Series. He followed that up with 5th, 9th, and 15th finishes in 1995. Since then, Kevin has competed as funds have permitted.

Over the last few years, Kevin has been helping local Windsor area racers get started at Delaware Speedway by helping with car set-up and driving techniques. He has raced a very limited schedule in the Super Series and has raced a few races in the Sportsman division. This year, Kevin hopes to run the full season in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.

Kevin’s advice to anyone thinking of getting into racing, “ Don’t let anyone intimidate you. If you think you can run, do it. I have never taken my eyes off of my goal. Racing is all I dreamed about when I was growing up. I have been consistent all through the years even though I don’t always go home a winner. I know I can do a good job for a sponsor and if they tell me their expectations, I know I can meet them.” With promotion being a high priority, Kevin’s philosophy is to provide good, clean images for sponsors, as well as lots of action and entertainment.
